troubleshooting PCIe-1427

we have a PCIe-1427 working on a Windows XP-32bit. We want to upgrade to Windows 7 -64-bit and continue using the PCIe-1427. However, when we install the board, windows 7 does not detect it. No errors or info was given by Windows. We read on NI support that a firmware upgrade may be necessary.

Can someone please point us to the correct firmware and upgrade instructions.

Also, do we need to download a new software driver for Win7 64-bit?

By the way, we are usiong this board to run NI Vision 8.6 acquisition software.

Hello Azi and Aaron,

The drivers for the PCIe-1427 are the NI-IMAQ and NI-IMAQ I/O drivers which are part of the Vision Acquisition Software. The latest versions of these are 4.7 and 2.6 respectively. These versions should be compatible with LabVIEW 8.6, you can find these drivers in the Vision Acquisition Software 2012.08 linked below.
