DMM 4050 with new PDA without PCMCIA slot

I want to develop system based on PDA (some HP) and DMM 4050. As far as i now are all last models of PDA without PCMCIA slot, but with CF slot. On the market exsist some adapters, but are not compactibile with all PCMCIA cards. So my question is following: Witch type of modern PDA recomendet NI for 4050. Is 4050 compactibile with adapter for CF slot.

Currently we do not support CF converters to use with our PCMCIA cards because they can not supply the necessary current to drive our PCMCIA devices.  Many PDAs may not have a PCMCIA slot built-in, but come with an accessory that clips on to them that allows you to plug in a PCMCIA card.  Any PDA that works with the LabVIEW PDA Module should work. I hope this helps.

Most vendors of Pocket PC devices have moved away from PCMCIA. HP had the iPAQ 55XX series which had an expansion pack with PCMCIA which you may still be able to find on places like eBay. Although consumer targeted Pocket PC's moved away from PCMCIA support, there are Windows CE devices which have PCMCIA support and can be used with LabVIEW PDA.
