How can I read thermocouples using DMM and SCXI1127?

Trying to write a program to measure several "T" thermocouples each connected to separate channels in the SCXI1127 multiplexer. The SCXI multiplexer is connected to PCI4070 flex DMM card inside a computer.

I have actually been able to scan and read a thermocouple but the resultant numbers are ridiculous.

Any help would be appriciated.

There are a number of reasons you may be seeing ridiculous results.  Please reference the following concept document to verify your system is set up correctly and for assistance finding any errors:
