DCAF XNet Support

Has anyone created an XNET module for DCAF?

I have a 9066 CRIO chassis with a NI 9860 CAN card and I'm considering starting with DCAF.

An XNet module hasn't been developed yet to my knowledge. The need has come up a few times in the past though. It'd certainly be a nice module to have. Of course its possible to create one on your own, but that could take days to weeks depending on the scope and your familiarity with DCAF. If that is a possibility let us know how we could help.

If creating your own plugin seems like too much work, but you'd still like to use DCAF for its other features, you could keep the XNet communication independent and even share the XNet data with the DCAF engine indirectly using something like the CVT.

Thanks very much for the reply!

Unforuntately my schedule is pretty tight for this particular project, so I doubt I'll have time to create a generally useful module.

I'll try to compile my notes on the topic here for someone in the future perhaps.

The 9862 is supported in Scan Engine.

This means that it should be feasible to use it in DCAF.
