Hi LucereFuria, Is your question about the duration of DCAF or of your LabVIEW student edition? . DCAF is open source and is under Apache 2 license, so there is no expiration date for the code included on DCAF. But in order to work with it you need to have a active license of LabVIEW.

Hi LucereFuria, this sounds as a LabVIEW or some other module asking for a license. You can verify the status of your license inside NI License Manager. In here you can see the status of your LabVIEW license.

How did you installed DCAF? Did you installed any additional module besides DCAF?

Sorry for the late reply. I've Installed the Multisim as it shown in the tutorial. my reference were in the youtube. but it says 15 days duration. Is it free when you are a student or not cause as what I've seen to the website it says. Purchase students edition?

Hi LucereFuria.

LabVIEW and Multisim are 2 different software programs. For using DCAF you need LabVIEW.

You can get the evaluation of LabVIEW a 6 month evaluation :

http://forums.ni.com/t5/Projects-Products/Free-6-Month-Evaluation-of-LabVIEW-Student-Edition-for-at-...

But if you need more time you actually need to buy the license.

For Multisim there is also a Student edition. http://www.ni.com/multisim/student-edition/

If you have active license for LabVIEW even if it is the student edition, you should be able to use DCAF.

Best Regards
