Skyline Data Services module for DCAF

Hello,

Skyline Data Services is a new NI framework for data transfer. It is currently used by NI InsightCM and NI SystemLink. Distributed tag management is one of its core capabilities: http://www.ni.com/documentation/en/systemlink/ear/manual/monitoring-data-with-tags/

Will there be an official interoperability package for DCAF and Skyline?

Already in work, with a functioning prototype version currently being tested.

Good news!  It would be nice for NI to fill us in on the future roadmap for skyline.  Would love to see a DSC replacement for large scale distributed data logging and control applications.  What seems to be missing is a replacement for Citadel (Skyline Historical Data Services?), the DSM and Hypertrend.  I myself have an upcoming project for the DOT with 50 cDAQs or cRIO's, 1000's of channels of I/O and need for 24/7 logging, local data caching and network recovery.  Hard to determine the best architecture...
