NI LabView 2014 & FRC updates

I had LabView 2014 on my PC before kickoff. Once kickoff happened, I loaded the FRC Utilities. When I bring up LabVew 2014 it still brings up the default Non-FRC Labview project launcher. How do I get to the FRC project launcher to help with setting up default robot project?

Also, I've searched and can't find the 2015 roborio image tool, dashboard, etc

Joe,

I too have LabVIEW installed and had to do the following.

  • Install the LV FRC2015 (Even if you have LV already installed)
  • Install the updates
  • If the Getting started window shows the standard LV screen
  • From the Dropdown menu select Tools->Choose Environment
  • Select the "LabVIEW for FRC" item in the list
  • Click on Apply to change to the FRC environment.
  • Revers the process if you want to go back to the standard LV environment.

Thanks. I did wound up uninstalling LV 2014 and reinstalling the stuff downloaded from the FRC downloads page. then install the utilities and it seems to work.

Thanks

Did you find the roboRIO Imaging Tool and the other utilities?

Check this directory: <LabVIEW 2014>\project\roboRIO Tool

I had done a full disk seach for "roborio" "2015", and "image" and didn't find it. After I unloaded LV 2015 and reloaded everything was loaded correctly.
