cRIO ethernet port 1 not working

Hello,

I'm a mentor for team 3875 (new this year!), and we've recently started having problems with Ethernet port 1 on our cRIO.  We were driving the robot, had a minor bump, and lost communication.  Now the green LED on the cRIO's first ethernet port always stays lit (whether or not anything is plugged into it), and we are unable to communicate through that port.  If I move the LAN cable to port 2, everything works as expected.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Dan Huizenga

Howdy Dan!

Unfortunately, it sounds like the ethernet port on the device got damaged during the bump.  If you call in to support we can help you troubleshoot it more, though the device will probably just need to be sent in for repair.

What is the number for the support line, and during what hours can we call?

Thanks,

The support information is on the overview page of the FIRST robotics community, along with a lot of other good information.
