I have an HP G7 laptop with an AMD A6-4400M processor and 3.5GB of RAM that has trouble installing and running FRC LabVIEW. When I start installing LabVIEW, once the installer gets to about 56% complete on the install, the LabVIEW Merge Object Cache Utility will use up about 2.5GB of RAM which completely freezes up the computer for about 10 minutes. Once the Merge Object Cache Utility uses less RAM (around 500MB), the install continues until everything is installed. After everything is installed, when I try to run LabVIEW, nothing comes up and the LabVIEW Merge Object Cache Utility once again uses up around 2.5GB of RAM. After about 10mins it quits using all the RAM, but nothing comes up and the computer is very slow until I restart it. I can run the Vision Assistant and everything else, except LabVIEW, so I uninstalled everything. What is wrong and how can I install and use LabVIEW it on this computer? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the same issue described here: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/LabVIEW-2011-SP1-installer-problem-with-AMD-FX-processor/m-p/1899779
