Greetings,
If I'm understanding the following known issues correctly:
"(OS X) Some computers running OS X start up in 64-bit Kernel mode by default and therefore do not support Fantom.dll. To change this behavior, hold down the 2 and 3 keys while you start the computer. To learn how to change the default behavior, refer to the documentation for the computer. (OS X 10.8) Running in 32-bit Kernel mode is not supported."
and
"(OS X 10.8) Bluetooth does not work due to deprecated code in OS X 10.8."
Bluetooth and Samantha connections are not possible on computers running os x 10.8. Is that correct? And, if so, are there any plans for an update in the near future? We can run tethered but that is pretty restrictive.
Solved! Go to Solution.

I'm just bumping this in hopes of a reply from NI. Is it correct that Macs running 10.8 cannot use Bluetooth or wifi to connect to the NXT?

Hi,
Sorry for the delayed response. Currently wireless connections to the NXT are disabled in OSX 10.8 and up, however wireless support will be re-enabled in the next update to NXT/MCT Toolkits, which will be released quite soon. I will post back here when it is available.
Thanks,
Ethan
