The announcement section has a link to http://forums.ni.com/www.ni.com/niweekcommunity obviously? this is the wrong URl it should point to http://www.ni.com/niweekcommunity

This happens if somebody forgets to prepend the "http://" part when creating the link. If it's missing, the forum substitutes the forum root, leading to the frankenstein'ian URL. 😉
Also: the corrected link seems incredibly slow from here.... 😞

Nothing to do with your network i guess. The page is still trying to load itself here too.

Well you are trying to use your laptop and that web-site to do what could be done with a pocket mirror. No no, I get it now. You are benchmark the performance and using the mirror as the reference. Just ignore me.
