No, the main forum shows the updated thread nicely bolded. I don't think they use different fonts.

(Another option would be the ability to switch between "showing only updated posts" or "all posts", but this might lead to confusion for some people (where'd all my posts go????))

Hi Everyone -

I'm going to start trying to address your concerns.  I apologize if I skip over some things, I may need to do further work.  Just nudge me later if it seems like I've missed your comment.  (P.S. I just got to use autosave, very exciting!)

• Ray F - what did you use the dashboard for? Perhaps I can suggest an alternative
• Mathan - You can also mark all messages in a particular board as unread in the board options menu
• GerdW - the popup windows for the editor have changed and now work better for me in Firefox.
• Adnan Z -  In My Settings you can get to your subscriptions, or from the "View All" link in the My Subscriptions module at the bottom of forums.ni.com.  For me at least, the board subscriptions are listed right at the top of the list of my subscriptions.
• tst and others - I'm not sure what is going on with font size.  I've used Firefox and IE8 with the default font size settings and see nothing like the image you posted.  Is it possible that you have the font changed in the browser itself?  If you try a different browser what happens?
• tst - need to investigate some of your other comments.
• Gray higlighting from multiple people -  posts that you are navigating to get the gray highlighting, such as if you searched for something and are jumping to a particular message in that thread (that's my best description).  I'm not particularly fond of it either and will look into disabling it.
• Roberto Bozzolo - are you describing the "0 Kudos" on the Kudos icon itself?  I have it on my list to switch that over to gray text instead of black
• Editor popups like for inserting a smiley - this works better for me but seems not for everyone.  If you are having problems with it, what browser and version are you using?
•  Unread Discussions: I've heard from many of you how you would like to see what you haven't read in the Idea Exchange because the sorting of ideas makes it hard to see the unread comments.  If you go to the Idea Exchange and click View All in the Unread Discussions module, you will see the ideas and comments you have not read only in that exchange.  The module only shows up if you have unread items. You can use the linked unread message count to jump right to the comments you have not read.    I understand that a further feature you would like to see is a way to find the new comments just on ideas or threads that you have participated in and I will continue to push it as an enhancement request.
•  Tim - Unread Discussions for Idea Exchanges should be just below the "About" section so it's the second module.  If you don't have anything unread, then it will not show up.   For subscription emails, if you click the link in the email next to the heading "subject" you should be logged in when you go the forums. 
•  smercurio - reporting macros drop down.  I agree with your assessment of the link insertion pop-up. Will report the attachment strangeness.  I also hope the space deletion in Firefox is gone for good!!
• Location of Post button - I will check on our other optons
• muks - do you have a very narrow screen? Not sure why the columns are so cramped in that image you attached from the Idea Exchange.
• Ben - will check on tag sort options
• Altenbach -  when I look at your recent posts page, I see bolding for things I haven't read.  Try looking at someone else's page, does that work? [EDIT: nevermind, the bolding is fine when I look at your recent posts, but doesn't work for mine.  Sigh... definitely a bug and I'm reporting it]

Laura, I guess the problem is that the "New detector for bolding" is on a post level instead of a thread level. Since I have read all my own posts (hopefully!), they will not show as bold.

In the old style, my posts were bolded if a new answer was added to the thread where the post resides. I prefer this!

EDIT: It does not have to be bold. Another option would be to highlight all lines that have a New count >0. (e.g. different background color.)

Ah.  I was clicking on "View the Reply", because I assumed if I clicked on the subject part it would take me to the first post.  Turns out it takes me to the actual comment, and yes, it does sign me in.  Strange though that the reply one doesn't sign me in.

I guess it's the topic link that takes me to the first post

Here's another problem:

When inserting a link after selecting some text, the key focus is on the "link text" field. It should be on the URL field, (with the "HTTP://" already selected so it will be replaced with the real URL from the clipboard.

(This worked correctly in the old version. Now we need a few more clicks for no reason at all :()

I really like the leader boards!

THis has been long overdue and it looks like this will eliminate us having to run our own numbers.

The ability to view all of the top Kudoed message SORTED decending for the time span we select in very nice. Now if I am on the road for a week or so, I can come back and view the top Kudoed post for the last week.

My Ben's Post page (used to be Ben tracker) ONLY has 100 pages!

I can't see any of my posts prior to 2009.

I used to be able to configure my "Ben Tracker (list of my post page) for 100 posts. It is now limited to only 20.

Where do I find that setting to set it back to 100 per page?

With my post rate, 20 only handles one day. "100" gives me a week.
