Total tag suicide...
!!! This is even more shocking than the "Mark All as Read/Unread" loaded gun!!! Dangerous methods like these need to be stashed way, way in the dregs of the "My Settings" options page, and need to be confirmed with a password.

Idea Exchange issues:
1. I see no module on the right-hand side of the screen with the Unread Messages (I know what it looks like, I see it on other boards, but it's not present on the LabVIEW Idea Exchange). There are still 90 "old" messages of about 5k that I have not read, and I can't figure out which ones they are.
2. The Latest Comments module still shows a random spattering of some "kinda new" messages, but certainly not the latest messages (old bug)
3. As others have mentioned, it is now very difficult to distinguish the difference between posts you have Kudoed, ones you have not yet Kudoed, and ones you cannot Kudo such as posts you have created or locked posts (see the four options in respective order below)
4. Nitpick: I understand the "star", but "up arrow" does not speak to me "you can't Kudos this"

I do see it, both on FF and IE (http://forums.ni.com/t5/forums/unreadpostspage/board-id/labviewideas/tab/thread), but its usefulness is limited and I fear I will continue to use the email option for the moment.
There are two main reasons for this:
If only Lithium gave a us a standard board display...

Laura, do you remember Ton's old request to have the ability to configure the time format?
If memory serves, it was implemented at some point, but now it looks like the date is always displayed in US format. Just another thing to ping Lithium about.

I can confirm that the mark all community as read link does indeed do that (and without asking for confirmation), so I would stay away from that.
I didn't check the tag deletion one, but you can check it by creating a new user.

Now I saw what you're saying as well. Mine displayed 3 unread posts in the main page and the module did not show up. I can say that these aren't new posts, so I would suggest you just bite the bullet and clear them. Of course, now that I used the link I mentioned earlier, I have 0 marked as new.
I am going to retract my previous statement. I'm going to try using the unread module for the exchange, but only because it saves me going through all the emails. I still think it's not accessible and usable enough.

I have set it in my settings as dd-MM-yyyy and it works correctly.

Laura,
I didn't get any option, I did my normal CTRL-C and when I did CTRL-V that window popped up. I wasn't copying from some Word document. I had just copy a section of text from a post.

Ray

Fair enough. For some reason I didn't see that option even though I looked at that page. Sorry, Laura.

I am currently using Firefox 3.6.3. In my preferences I set the "Text Size" to "Small". In Firefox I have not changed the zoom level, and I have not changed anything with respect to DPI settings within Windows. This is what I see on the main forums page:
If you set the font size to "Medium" (which I believe is the default), then the forum links show up as bold if there are new messages.
I am using the same firefox version. Unfortunately, I do not get the Bold if there are new messages. The font size is set to the default medium size.

Has anyone else noticed that the cursor may dissappear from the edit window when replying to a message. The cursor is either white or not there, but the text can be written.
