Any one ever write data to a CD through a VI?

I'm trying to take data that has been logged and burn it to a CD that will be shipped to an analysis center. This will be on a Win2K box with a CD-RW/DVD ROM drive. Just wondering if anyone has experience with this.

I've played around with this before. If your software/hardware allows for rewritable (not just writing) cds, it can be really easy. In my case, I was able to treat the cd just like an ordinary drive and then could specify the path in my program. So I would suggest trying to find this capability with your equipment as well.

To update this in case other are wondering:

I used the free software from http://cdburnerxp.se and their command input to burn files. This was just a fast solution to burn to a DVD on a windows XP platform that does not have the DVD drivers. otherwise you could possibly create a DLL wrapper or similar from the MS IMAPI2 drivers and use that in LV, but due to time limitations I havent tried that.
