Can no longer commpose posts or PMs using chrome

As of just now, I can no longer compose posts or PM messages using Google Chrome browser.

• The edit toolbar is missing! (see images, compare chrome with IE9)
• I just sent a PM anyway, and the result had all linefeeds stripped, similar as described here.
• When composing a message, switching from Rich text to html or back sometimes erases the entire message, starting over with a blank slate.

Here are images comparing the PM edit screen in IE9 and Chrome.

Same happens when composing a post.

Second problem, now in IE:

Trying to embed the below attached images fails! Pressing "load image" simply blanks the just entered URL, never shows a preview, and leaves the "insert image" button greyed out.

Update: Went back to chrome and things are working again and I embedded the images.

What is going on???!!!!

Went back to compose a PM using Chrome, Still broken!

Had again the same problem today.

After clearing the cache and restarting chrome, things were back to normal.
