[Feature-Request] Sort 'Recent Kudos From' by Kudos#

Solved!
Go to solution

Steps-by-step:

Go to MyProfile

In the 'Recent Kudos from' frame click 'View all'.

Now you are on 'Kudos Received: from Users'.

Only two sort options are present: by Data and by User.

I'd like to see who kudoed me most.

Actually it's a very interesting distribution, with one contibutor gave me almost 20% of my total kudos, the 2nd only 2%. And a very long tail of users that gave me only 1 Kudos.

Although I would agree that the forum could use that feature and I DO second the idea, you don't need that function to find out who your groupies are.

I am one!

I have been the "groupie" of many contributors here and I express my thanks for the knowlege you share or the thought you inspire using Kudos.

Welcome the list of my mentors ( ashort list follows, consult the KNight of NI thread for others)

Greg McKaskle

Rolf Kalbermatter

Albert Gevens

Dennis Knutson

Christian Altenbach

Jim Kring

Michael Avaliotis

Daklu (David)

Felix

...

and the list goes on.

But I do agree the forum could use that feature as well as a "sort by thread" so others could easily find and read the most populat posts by all of the contributors.

Ben,

I feel very, very honored by appearing on that list.

I'm pretty confident about my skills, but you dare to mention me with such high authorities on LV-programming. Thank you very much.

Actually, it was you as the No. 1 top groupy (it's now 99 kudos from you), who made me look at this statistic. While expecting a long tail with one Kodus by all those short-time visitors that get the answer/solution they need, I wasn't expecting such a sharp Pareto-distribution in the high-kudos range. Even taking into account that you are a kudoerholic Smiley Wink.

This is possible now!

Thanks,

If "Ask and Ye shall receive" is still in effect, is it easy/hard/impossible to extend this to the list of Kudo'ed posts?  IMO all columns in these lists should be sortable, but I would settle for just this one.

I don't think it's possible, but let me make sure I know what your asking for - you'd like to sort your own posts based on the number of kudos that you've received?

Thanks!

Yes.  That would be very interesting (at least to me).  Not that recognizing my groupies is not interesting...

Generally, would appreciate the ability to sort any collection by Kudos, especially when sifting through results of a search.

And thanks for the quick turnaround on the original request!! :thumbup1:

Unfortunately the second request doesn't appear quite as easy but I will pass this suggestion along. I agree that sort would be nice on any given criteria.

Thanks,

Laura
