How do I get an RSS subscription from a search?

Solved!
Go to solution

Before the redesign and/or upgrade, my browsers (Chrome and Firefox) would show me an RSS link I could subscribe to for new hits on my search terms.

I cannot find it now. Where did it go? The ones I set up years ago continue to work.

Hi Joe,

It appears there is an issue with the Options menu not displaying to users. This is where you would normally find the "subscribe to RSS feed" option. We will have to escalate this to our community provider for further investigation.

If you can tell me what the search term is, I should be able to get you the RSS feed URL to use.

Thanks,

Lili

Thanks!

I want to add two new searches:

  • InstrumentStudio
  • Instrument Studio

You can try these two URLs:

https://forums.ni.com/ni/rss/search?advanced=false&q=InstrumentStudio&allow_punctuation=false

https://forums.ni.com/ni/rss/search?collapse_discussion=true&q=%22Instrument+Studio%22

However, it seems the second one with the space does not return the expected results.

You may want to consider using another tool such as Google Alerts for more precise search query notifications.
