Is there a way to "mention" another user in a post discussion? I tried @user which does not work.

Hi @d.w.b,

At this time only administrators can mention others. We do plan to roll that feature more broadly in the future.

Usually administrative features like these are rolled aROUND a TABLE" on (another board) to assist y'all with feedback.

Could you open a thread about this on (another board)?

Hey @JÞB

I will definitely do so when we get to that. Still waiting for resources.

Sweet! It really would be nice to be able to respond "@" another user posting within a thread without necessarily quoting a TL:DR post that risks thread hijack from the OP.

Or, in other words,  I see promise in the possibilities that would improve these Forums.   Some advance trials would help refine the UX and facilitate input into Forum User Guidelines for when @mention use is especially useful.
