Not a community problem (maybe?), but a NI site problem.

Let's have a look here (article was featured on fakebook earlier).

Who in his right mind would stretch a perfectly good picture to make the pixels rectangular and the entire thing highly distorted?? Hurts my eyes! It really does! (note that the small preview looks fine)

(We often see similar distortions with e.g. surveillance videos posted by police that somebody stretched from SD (4:3) to HD (16:9) and all the skinny suspects look very chubby. Bad form and not helpful at all!)
