NI home pages are "Not Secure" - why?

Recent updates to chrome encourage site owners to switch to https to avoid the "not secure" tag (details). This is a good recommendation!

So why are all the NI links at the top of the forum page insecure?? This is troubling, especially since all these links work equally well when manually changing the URL to https. Is this a recent oversight?

Hi altenback,
We understand your concerns.  Please know our web team is aware and they are currently in the process of making ni.com https compliant.  In the meantime, you will see more secure link changes throughout the year in hopes to have all the changes completed by the end of next year.

The shop is probably a good place to start.

(yes it switches to https at the checkout page, but it's not a good look)

Hi MichaelBalzer,

Thank you for the suggestion. The web team is working on a plan to integrate the changes when availability and priority allows.
