Solved!

it Is a bit of a pain that I cannot go directly from online training to the forums without first passing though the cookie cutter.

Hey Jeff,

By cookie clutter do you mean the "Server error" page?

Yeah... sorry about that! It's a cookie issue we have identified and one of our internal teams is hoping to roll out the fix soon. If you are not logged into ni.com but you are logged into the forums, there is no problem. The issue arises when you log into ni.com and then try to log into the forums. You can avoid the "cookie cutter" by logging into the forums first and then to ni.com. Should be fixed soon!

I am still experiencing the "server error" issue, e.g. after logging into the community first.

Yes, unfortunately this is expected as the bug is still live and still has to do with one of the values in the cookie. The bug should be resolved very soon.

You will have to delete your cookies and log into forums.ni.com before you log into the community.

I'm sorry, I know it's very frustrating.

I think I went back to the community and logged out. After that I was able to log back into the forum....

Yes, Jeff. We were able to release the fix in the November 10 release.

Let me know if you run into crazy behavior.

Happy Thanksgiving if I don't chat with you before then!

Jordan
