Roberto,
If you are able to consistently reproduce the issue, would you be willing to send a HAR file to help with further investigation? Below are the steps to get the HAR file, if you are unfamiliar with the process.
Thank you,
Lili

I can indeed reproduce the misbehaviour but I can't record it the way you suggest. The problem is in your step 1: starting an incognito session implies me to explicitly log into the forum, and as I told you before in this case all works well every time!
If you want I can clear cookies and cache to the level you want me to do and record the steps into the HAR file in a regular session.

To ensure the HAR file doesn't capture other data from your session, it is preferred that this is done with a clear cache/cookies. As you said though, you may have to just do this in your regular browser mode.
However, after some further investigation, it appears a similar issue as you have reported is fixed in an upcoming platform update. We can always wait to see if your issue is fixed after that time. We do not have an estimate as to when this update will occur though.
Thanks,
Lili

It just happened again on another thread, specifically this one
If I click on the link provided by edjones (which by the way is https ) I see a new page in English with my name, but I am effectively logged out
I do not want to worry you with this, I just want to add some element more to the story. Maybe you can test the new release with this new episode too.

Thanks for the example. Can you confirm if you were browsing in https at the time that you clicked on the link edjones posted? Also, when you say you see your name still -- is that at the top right of the page or in the blue header space?

I'll show you in two images:
From this moment on, whichever link I click I am logged off the forums.

Thanks for the screenshots! I'm still unable to reproduce the issue. I still recommend we see if things improve once we have our platform upgrade which might fix the issue.

Sure! We can wait for the update and check.

Hi Roberto,
We had a platform update last night that included a fix that may resolve the issue you have been experiencing. Please let us know if that is the case.
Thanks,
Lili

Unfortunately not: the behaviour remains the same on all pages I showed you on both Win7 and Win10, all on Chrmoe.
I managed to test with a different machine in my office where I never navigated the forums with the same exact results.
I find it hard to think I am the only one experiencing such an issue but I see nobody has posted on this topic... it seems there's something in my setup that facilitates this misbehaviour: maybe the Italian localization of the OD or the forums? I haven't a non-italian PC here to test this matter against.
