This is not a specific bug tracking thread. And, to the best of my knowledge, they do not leave them.
You linked to a 2016 bug thread apparently complaining about a 10+yr old bug. Could you be a bit more specific? We may be able to help you work around bugs that old.
Please feel free (Please DO) start a new thread so people 10 years from now are not confused by the old bug you are seeing.
