Wow, have the forum login servers gone on break for the past few weeks, or is it just me? I've seen logins take up to 30 seconds. This happens from both my work and home computer.

The login funcationality actually hits our ni.com servers.  I've been hearing complaints around other areas of the site for logging in as well but don't know why. Most recently, I've heard from users that are using Windows 7 (I'm still on XP).  Which OS are you using?

XP at work, Windows 7 at home.

Logins are fine at this end of the planet.  Maybe your provider is throttling back your access to NI..  😉

Well, it would have to be a collusion between AT&T and Comcast, since the same thing occurs at home and work. I don't think I've annoyed them enough to the point where they've got a vendetta against me just yet.

Well, now I'm updated to Windows 7.  I haven't noticed slow logins but I think I'm not a good compare

I asked some of our IT team to run performance tests and nothing came back out of the ordinary.  The slowness is just when you click the Sign In link on the forums?  No where else on ni.com?

I've indicated several places where I see it in another message:

When I sign in

With the editor loading

Loading a thread

When you try to load the main forums page (forums.ni.com)

It's always with the forums.

Just wanted to point out that this is still an issue. It seems to have actually gotten worse. My forms of access have not changed.

This is very strange - all the tests I've had run show nothing out of the ordinary and you are really the only one that reports it to me.  If you go to some other ni.com page like ni.com/profile and login from there is it just as slow?
