Subscription keywords

I used to be able to enter key words (e.g. FlexRIO) and get notified via email when someone posted about these subjects.  The emails used to be more often and now went away completely.  I checked spam and do not see anything.  I have all ni.com emails set to not be blocked.

I cannot see where I can set/change the subscription keywords.

Hi @Terry_ALE ,

One of our team noticed that a few days ago. We are looking into it.

Thank you,

Mark

Thanks for the reply.  I consider this feature essential to the forums for a number of reasons:

1. When I work on a project I add some of the project keywords to the subscription (e.g. a particular NI FPGA board).  If someone posts about it I get to see it and can gain insights.

2. Generally, I am always subscribed to keywords of topics I am interested in developing competency (e.g. ATCA, MGT).  This allows me to see what people are discussing and sometimes contribute.

I always mention this feature to customers.  I made mention of this feature in the book on LabVIEW FPGA that I wrote which came out this year.

Overall, I hope the feature comes back soon and I think it would be a critical mistake to not keep it.

I absolutely used this feature.  I feel like I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to CAN, and TDMS stuff.  So I subscribed to XNet, TDMS, LAVA, and a few variations of my name "hooovahh".  This way I'd be able to help out anywhere someone mentioned me, or mentioned a subject I was interested in.  Please bring this back so we can help more.

Hi @Terry_ALE ,

You beat me to it. We did turn it back on this morning but we're still testing it to make sure everything is working correctly. Let us know if you see any issues.

Thank you,

Mark

I saw the emails coming in yesterday and in a geeky sort of way I was very pleased.  Thanks for the responsiveness!

Thanks my searches started working again.  I went in to the Search Subscriptions and tried adding another term but I got an error that the "Query cannot contain spaces".  Is it supposed to have commas separating items?  It previously used spaces.  There isn't any help text explaining how to use it.
