I think tst probably meant smercurio_fc instead of Saverio . Same difference. 😄
Yep, I counted smercurio_fc as one of the 4 🙂 So tst has 4 out of 5 correct
ok,
then this is my tip:
Altenbach, Dennis, Ben, smercurio_fc, RavensFan

You are either throwing us a bum clue or there something wrong here.
Yair guessed;
"
Altenbach, Dennis, Ben, Saverio, MikeS81?
"
and Laura said 4 of 5 correct.
I am NOT* in that list so his guess of "Ben" IS WRONG so that means the other 4 are correct.
But now MikeS is indicating that he is not in that list either. So with that said I think MikeS is bluffing so my guess is
Altenbach, Dennis, Raven's Fan, Saverio, MikeS81?
Ben
* ...but with the almost 300 threads I have started over the years I could turn the standings upside-dwon if I wanted to.

I was wondering when my name was going to pop up.
My guess was that MikeS81 is the one not on the list. Not that he hasn't given a people a lot of help in the past, but in the recent months since the new system came on line, he hasn't seemed to be on the forums as much so wouldn't have accumulated many solutions.
I would have thought that Ben was on the list. And you are saying you are not?
Looking over the numbers, I was surprised at how large those numbers have become in such a short period of time.
My guess is (and I'm not sure about the order):
Altenbach, smercurio, Dennis, Ben, RavensFan

Hi,
I dont want to sound like sour grapes here, but this is worthless exercise.
Take the following as an example and this is no put down on the excellent work Altenbach adds to the forums, but in the following
http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=414203#M414203
Altenbach gets the tick but in the original link that person didn't get the tick, which is where the tick should have counted.

I suspect you are number 5 that Laura declared had 116. Could you possibly have 3 answers that were un-marked as solutions? If so that would be the 116 for #5.
Here are my numbers so we can stop suspecting me as being in that group.
I have managed to top 1 million messages read.
So I stand on my last guess with the order still being in question.

Looks like Ben has all 5 correct! The correct order is Dennis, altenbach, smercurio_fc, Ravens Fan, MikeS81.
The report I looked at did not subtract the solutions unmarked for some reason - so that is why you see a slightly different number in your profile than what I listed.
I am so impressed by how many solutions you have authored (even if a few were marked incorrectly)!
Regards,
Laura
P.S. I will be out June 15 - 19 so I won't be able to reply to you as quickly on this board.

Ben, where exactly do you want me to send that case of beer? 😄

Of course, one can always "cheat" by creating a bunch of questions and then answering it themselves.

"If I knew there was a competition I would have cooked the books, cooked the books...." (think "If I knew you were coming I would have baked a cake")
Both those ideas are tempting but...
Christian,
It is too late to get it here before the game tonight*, so if I bumped you into first place would you buy a round at the LAVA-G gig durring NI-Week?
Before you say yes, keep in mind that with the ability to un-mark a solution I could also un-bump you.

* THe following always gets massive groans whenever I present it (Yair, you may not want to read any farther). I call it a visual pun/riddle.
1) I empty all of the writting instruments I normally carry in my pocket protector onto a table.
2) After arranging them such that they are all parallel but staggered, I then ask the viewers to imagine a starting line at one boundry of the desk and a finish line at the other edge.
3) Then I lean over very close to the desk and start yelling at the top of my voice "GO!", "GO!".
4) I then turn to my baffled audience and ask them "So what is the punch line?"
Answer : GO Pens!
For those of you not familiar with the NHL Stanley Cup play-offs, the Penguins are playing Detroit in game 7 tonight.
GO PENS!
