edit and delete image on mobile?

I am not really good with all that computer stuff, so maybe somebody could do some hand-holding and give me some step-by-step instructions on how I can delete an already inserted image when editing a post on android (chrome). I am sure there must be an easy way. 😄

Hi Christian,

I haven't been able to test on an Android device, but on iOS you can just insert your text marker after the image and then backspace to delete the image. Does this work on Android?

Thanks,

Lili

I have to try again, but it simply seems to skip the image and continue deleting text above it. I'll try again later....

I haven't done the forums on my phone for awhile, but it used to be that I would have to highlight around the image and then backspace/delete in order to remove the images.  A simple set cursor and backspace never worked.

I just tested this in Chrome on a Galaxy Note 9. To remove the image, you can insert the text marker behind the image and use the delete button OR you can tap the image (avoid the top right where the pencil icon is) and then use the delete button.

Backspacing skips the image here, so that does not work (What do you mean by "delete button"?)

Yes, I found the "delete" button on the image dialog (big X) but I wasn't sure if that would delete it from the post (desired) or from my image library (not desired) so I was hesitant to use it.
