Each posts that is a reply to a post not immediately above it needs a link to the post it is replying to.

(A small link "In reply to ..." at the top of the post would do!). We constantly have replies in long threads where we have no idea what a poster is referring to (example). And the forum does not seem to have a mechanism to ever find out. Is that information even kept somewhere?

This feature would eliminate a lot of ambiguities and would also eliminate the constant need (I currently do that!) to quote a small section of the previous post to clarify the context.

Thank you for providing this feedback. We have heard this request in the past but unfortunately, there's still no OOTB functionality that replicates this. This may be something that could be custom created. The request will be added to our backlog for further investigation.
