Hyperlinks not working as per the examples

Solved!
Go to solution

I'm trying to emulate the structure of two of the G Web examples:

  • Call SystemLink Data Services
  • Multiple Top-Level WebVIs

When I upload any of these examples to my SystemLink server, they run just fine.

Then, I build my own application and I place hyperlinks on the panel of index.gviweb and I configure them the same as I see in the examples (or so I think...). However, after uploading, when I click any of my hyperlinks, I get the message:

{"error":{"args":[],"code":-252540,"message":"Webapp content does not exist.","name":"DocumentManager.ContentNotFound"}}

Am I missing something?

Could you post a simple project (which doesn't anything specific to your application) where you can reproduce this?

Hello Sujay,

Thank you for reaching out. Please find attached the simplest project I can think of. Again, I drag the package into the Web Applications page of my  SystemLink and I see the same message each time I click any of the hyperlinks.

Thanks for the example project. In the project, the other webVIs (First.gviweb, Second.gviweb, Third.gviweb) were not marked as "Top-level VI" in the component document. Hence they were not built and included in the build output. Once I marked them as top-level and built, the hyperlinks worked fine.
