Dear,
At the moment I want to use two PCI5922 scope cards synchronized via a RTSI cable. Both cards and cable are installed in an industrial PC running under XP. Trying to use the standard software (scope soft front pannel), I would like to do:
Card A : Trigger on channel 1 using a (out of the preset) window trigger, single measurement
Card B: Trigger when channel 1 is triggered.
(as you see, I need to measure 4 channels in stead of simply 2)
This does not seem to work since when I select on card B the digital trigger via RTSI0 line it is not triggered. Also, I have no way to say who is master/slave ...
Card A works fine, and measures as expected, but Card B never starts acquisition.
Furthermore, there is a VB6.0 example program on synchronization which does not work (gives an error when the get-attribute wants to read the delay from the rtsi line), and than it is finished. Also, I have the 5 minutes warning, although the university has a NI Academic Site -licence, I cannot stop this warning from occuring. Today I tried to install the NI Labview core software (for the drivers in VB6.0 of the scope) and also the Extebded develoment suite (for the active X which you use in all examples and which causes the 5 minutes -not registered yet). It seems to me impossible to use these cards simply under VB6.0 without lots of unwanted software. In principle I just need the driver of the 5922 card, no more -no less (I have my own graphics etc ...) Even the normal type declarations like single, double, long integer are changed in the demonstration programs (now called ViReal64 etc ... Why change standard language types into other names ? ( ViReal64 = double)
Could you please help me with this problem ?
best regards,
Johan
