Hi. I work at NI and am learning LabVIEW during the shelter-in-place restrictions.
Can you direct me to examples of user interface situations?
My program will process ATE data. The user inputs a SN and temperature and the program places the appropriate data onto an excel data sheet template.
I need an example of the design: interactive controls on the front panel to get data from 3 temperatures, process them, and compare them.

Hi Barbara,
This example looks pretty close to what I think you want.

Good luck with your studies.

I'm trying to learn Labview and TestStand. How long does a free trial of the software last, for Labview and for TestStand? And can it be extended for educational purposes at the end of the trial?

I believe the free trials are still for 30 days, but you could do 30 on LabView, then 30 on TestStand.
And yes, I'm sure there are extensions if you have an NI representative. Do you work for a big company that has LabView licenses? If so, you probably have site licenses. Are you in school (college, etc.), you can get a Student version for free I believe.

Check out LabVIEW, Community Edition. https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/labview/select-edition/labview-community-edition.html It's supposed to be free for ever.
And according to Google, LabVIEW demo's are currently 45 days.
I know nothing about Test Stand.
