Hello Everyone,
I do have a project that will control two GPIB instrument using a cRIO.
I wanted to ask if the usb ports of cRIO-9030 can be use to communicate with the GPIB instruments using a GPIB-USB-HS?
I am going to send and receive data on the two GPIB instrument.
I just found a note in the manual of cRIO-9030 stating that the USB device port is intended for use in device configuration, application deployment, debugging, and maintenance. I am a little confuse if the usb ports of cRIO-9030 can be use as a data receiver and transmitter while the program/application is running?
Thank you.

Since cRIOs don't support the 488.2 driver, there is not a simple way to read GPIB on these devices. If you want to add a GPIB interface to your cRIO you could use a GPIB-RS232 converter and the provided library of VIs.
See this document on communicating with GPIB instruments using cRIO:
