Hi Shubhajit,
I would like to do the following presentation online. Slot 1 is preferable as I am in different time zone. thanks.

*Title & Description*

Use Cases, Challenges & Solutions of Object-Oriented Programming in LabVIEW

Building an application through drag and drop approach can be good enough for build and forget requirements. However, if you need to build an application which are not only large but also require you to regularly maintain and update then previous approach is going to increase technical debt. In many cases, the code becomes useless and you might need to write the entire code from scratch increasing development time and cost.

In this presentation, we discuss about advantages of Object-Oriented Programming compared to Task Oriented Programming, and how OOP increases code reuse and reduce development time and effort. We will discuss use cases when to use OOP approach and when to use task-oriented approach. Then how to convert the existing task-oriented code into object-oriented code through a Data Logger demo.

We will then explore the OOP principles such as encapsulation, inheritance and polymorphism in the paradigm of LabVIEW. And how features such as interfaces can address multiple inheritance requirements in LabVIEW.
