Can GPIB Analyzer intercept message ？

We know that GPIB Analyzer can capture message between controller and instrument. Is it possible to monitor one command from controller and stop forwarding to instrument?  We just want to control talker to stop sending one command to listener.

I think may be you can unwire connector then isolate DIOs for one direction with some thing like diodes and wire them again to connector. in this case you have just receive and no send

Can we disable NI Spy listening?  I do NOT want ni spy to sniffer communicating from my application since we try to protect our controller application.

Even if it is possible to disable NI Spy, any other GPIB controller could be attached and put into listen only mode and 'see' the bus traffic.

just do not respect to standard in cable and in protocol also you can use hashing method for sending data
