Hi

All info is hidden in the dll that has a strange opening in the initialize.vi

In fact 3 operations are happening at the same time (not connected by wires in sequence

1) the dll opens the serial port

2) the settings of the serial port are modified in visa properties in the middle

3) the port wil be opend by visa and asked for Idn*

These should not be happening at the same time anyway.

I can try to work out a complete vsa example instaed of this example.

Should be ready late this evening.

I forgot to attach a picture of the vi in which I replaced the IO assistant by its code.

Hello , 

the problem is solved with  my multimeter, i did not use VISA to communicate with , i just used some blocks of code from the sub VI of the driver provided on the web site of "Metrix", but be careful , using  direct Sub  Vi only can  not work , case "voltage" sub VI show me in error, i attach a screenshot of my code and programm
