Fluigent devices not being read in NI-MAX, with USB what should I do?

I believe that I have the latest drivers for Labview, and Windows can read them fine with no problems.  However, they don't show up in NIMAX.  Not sure what else to provide here.

I also can't find the ausbtmc.sys file, which I think I need.

The only USB devices that will show up in NI-MAX are those that are USBTMC-compliant or have drivers that create virtual COM ports.

It's silly to think that you need your device to show in MAX before you can use LabVIEW with it. If you are using the toolkit from fluigent and are having problems, you need to contact their customer support.

Hello ylevental,

The Fluigent instruments are HID Compliant devices. By default, Microsoft Windows installs a Microsoft signed driver for any HID Compliant device on your machine.

We have developed an API, making calls directly to the hid.dll library provided in Windows, that allows you to interact with the Fluigent instruments. Moreover, we provided VI packages for each Fluigent instruments that make the shared library function calls transparent for the developper.

Hope this helps. Feel free to contact our support team from here.
