HART communication with LabVIEW

 Hi,

I am using H1311 HART serial Interface from SmarResearch to communicate with my device.

Iam able to communicate with the device using third party software.But unable to do the same with LabVIEW . I am not getting any response for the commands that I send to the instrument using LabVIEW.

I tried the vi 'Read unique identifier (UID).vi' in the  HART example available here.

But ended in error. 

Any other way to get it working ?

Update..

I am finally able to communicate using my PXI COM port (PXI 8430) with the HART examples in the link above

But when i try to communicate using the COM port in my PC, its not happening..
