How can i initialize the GPIB connection? -LabWindows/CVI-

Hello,

Connection between instrument works fine after going to Instrument I/O Assistant.. It's initializing something what makes connection working.  How  can i  make connection work without going there?

And another questions is how can i programmically change GPIB address?

I solved connection problems.. But still can't change GPIB address programmically.. I try to control three instruments in program by changing GPIB address in menubar everytime i want to control another instrument.. Any help?
