NI MAX doesnt show VISA server option

HI,

I wanted to access COM port on a remote PC. I know that we have to enable VISA server on the remote PC in order to gain access through labview.

But for some reason, my NI MAX software doesnt show up the VISA server option.

I am using, Windows 10 64 bit, Labview 64 bit, Ni MAX version 20.0.0f0, NIVISA 20.0

Appreciate any suggestions.

Hi,

Did you tick the NI VISA Server when installing NI VISA? If not, you might have to reinstall NI VISA and tick the NI VISA Server.

Thanks i over looked that option while installing. Now re-install with the option works.
