Terminating Resistor on NI PCIe-8433?

Hello, can anyone help me find the terminating resistor on the NI PCIe-8433  2-Port Isolated Serial Interface for PCI Express card? We are doing RS-485 communications and there should be a 120-ohm resistor on both ends of the link. Does anyone know if the terminating resistor is install by default or one must add it?

Hi joe5213,

Termination resistors are not included in NI serial products since they are not always necessary. You can also use the DB-9 Terminating Connector for RS-485 Networks (P/N 182844-01) if you prefer.
