Why am I unable to see the USB instrument in the resource list? Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Have you ensured you configured the NI-backend correctly?

Review these processes:

https://pyvisa.readthedocs.org/en/stable/configuring.html

If you are sure this has been done correctly, consider the following:

Have you been able to communicate with this device before?

Do you have another USB device you could try using to verify the ports and wires are working properly?

Do you have a different machine you could try it on?
