modbus example serial slave

Hi,

i am using Modbus serial slave example to communicate with the modbus device.

this example works well when i use "Modpoll" at the other end but not with the "Real term " Sniffer  please help

Hi zaku..

i also had a similar prob.. usually a slave will reply only for a masters command.. modpoll acts as a master so you will be able to see the data your slave is sending.. pls make sure that realterm also acts as a master

real term is able to sniff if i transmit data from one machine to other but when i try with NI Modbus serial slave example serial sniffer is not showing any data packets

are you using the example that comes with labview??

Make sure the baud rate and polarity matches!
