where to find ni-488.2 2.8.1 download

According to http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/2BFCEE471BECB95F862574020059117E   the last version of NI-488.2 that is compatible with LabVIEW 8.5.1 is 2.8.1  but I can only find 2.8.0

Is 2.8.1 available for download ?

Hi Intens,

I believe 2.8.1 is just a patch for 2.8. The readme file is available online. The 2.8.1 version added .NET Framework 4.0 support. Once 2.8 is installed, you should be able to update to 2.8.1.

I don't see any way to update to get the 2.8.1 patch.

I have the latest NI Update Service software installed.

My mistake. Version 2.8.1 is not available for download. Is there a reason why you need it? The only feature added in 2.8.1 is .NET Framework 4.0 support.

In addition, we will be migrating some software to VB.NET 2010 Express.

So, there are two reasons.
