wt2030 GPIB Can't read from WT 2030

We downloaded the driver from NI website for WT2030 Yokogawa, while trying to run the VI errors keep showing up as ERROR: 1073807194 Cannot write. We use the software provided by Yokogawa the meter seems fine communicating to the computer.  We have no idea why this is happening, can anyone help?

What kind of interface do you use ?

Do you use your own VI or one of the examples from the drive package ?

We try to use Measurement and automation Explorer (MAX) to send the query, and getting nothing in return. We think we didn't setup MAX right.

The example in the package seems to be working in idenifying the meter model, but got error once it trying to query the STAT:VAL? command.

Some background on us and our knowledge level on labview.

We are two 4th year electrical engineering students working on our capstone project.  We had 3 labs working on labview, but we never learn how to actually setup labview to communicate with hardware, since it is all done for us.
