Here are the examples and slides from my talk at GDevCon3 on User Interface techniques.  The code depends on Messenger Library 2.0.7 and Malleable Buffer 0.5.2, both on VIPM.   LabVIEW 2020.

There are some weird dependency errors when opening the project, pointing to various folders in the vi.lib hierarchy. I wonder if that could be cleaned up for the public.

Not sure what caused this for you.  I've remade the zip file of code, and also specified what versions of vipm packages I am using.
