Hi,
I have Labview Communications System Design Suite (2014 SP1) with academic premium license. I installed vision development module and
vision acquisition software and activated their licenses. I would like to embed the vi's/function palettes of these new softwares on to labview.
I see that the old labview versions allow to add new vi's (learnt from discussion forums). I have not come across an example
of the labview versions 2014 and beyond, where we can embed new vi's.
I found the post on the following link be relevant to my query, but i think it is labview before 2014.

Is it the limitation of the academic license that does not allow me to add new vi's or is there a work around for recent labview versions?
I am new to labview. I think I am missing some information. Can anyone help with the above queries?

Hi Pradha,
It sounds like you may be using LabVIEW 2014 SP1, instead of LabVIEW Communications Design Suite 1.0 or 1.1. Unfortunately, there is no support for Vision in LabVIEW Communications. LabVIEW Communications is used with our USRP hardware and RF toolkits for Wireless Prototyping.
I recommend posting your questions to our Vision forum: http://forums.ni.com/t5/Machine-Vision/bd-p/200.
Thanks,
