How to obtain a control reference of an element in a cluster?

Hello!

Does anyone know how to get the control reference of an element in a cluster? e.g., I want to programmatically delete an item of a combo box, but this combo box is located in a cluster.

I'm familiar with control reference in general, and I can access the control reference of the cluster itself, but not the elements inside it. any help with will be appreciated.

Btw, I already searched the NI forum and most of what I found deals with standard Labview and not the NXG version.

Right-click the cluster element...create reference.

(ah sorry, I thought this was a classic LabVIEW question. Not sure if things are different in the comm suite)

Thanks for your opinion, but that is not possible. The option "Create reference" is disabled for all cluster's elements.

Btw, I use labview comms 3.1.1
