LabVIEW 5.1

When I try to wire visa open in block diagram I'm unable to create a control in front pannel but in LabVIEW newer versions and all resource name will be the control where can I find the control to give instrument address please help me as early as possible guys..,!

LabVIEW 5.1 is ancient (last century!) but the newest LabVIEW communication system design suite is 5.0.1. Can you explain what you are actually using? I don't think your problem is version specific, however it does not look like a picture from the comm suite, with is NXG based, so why did you post in this forum? Do you want me to move your post?

It will also help if you give a link to the document in your picture so we have some context. This just looks like a connector for an instrument reference that you need to create in the caller then wire to that connector after placing the subVI.
