[OSX] open VIs with DAQmx or DAQmx base VIs -> crash

On MacPro 2019 Intel with Monterey

Open a 202x DAQmx base VI, ex: /Applications/National Instruments/LabVIEW 2021 64-bit/examples/daqmxbase/dynamic/ao/Gen Voltage Update.vi

Click "ignore all" when LV looks for missing sub-vis.

Abrupt crash and quit!

I guess it has to do with DAQmx base which tries to initialise some "components" when VIs are loaded.

Same occurs if I try to load VIs with DAQmx for example coming from Windows.

LV should not crash and display missing icons instead,  - or better recompile DAQmx base (at least the USB part) for LV 2023 😉

Unfortunately, DAQmx Base is no longer supported, so NI will not be fixing issues with these VIs.

Hi Christina

I know DAQmx is not supported anymore, it was supposed to be a joke.

Anyway LV should not crash when opening a VI, no matter what's in the VI!

The same issue occurs if I open a windows DAQmx VI on OSX.

See the enclosed VI.

If opened in LV 2022 I see

In LV 2023b the FP open, and if I try to see the diagram LV crash!
