10k sine wave

I am would like to generate a 10kHz sine wave with a 1.25V amplitude using the simulate sine signal VI, does anyone know what I have to set the 'samples per second' to and the 'number of samples' to achieve this.

Thanks

Nyquist says that at a minimum, your sample rate should be twice the frequency. To get a good representation of a sine wave, use a sample rate at least 10 times the frequency. The number of samples will depend on how many cycles of the signal you want. If you want a single cycle, it's simply sample rate/frequency. Multiple cycles is this times the number of cycles.

Hi thanks for your help, back in the lab now so going to give it a try.
